My assignment with Leah was to provide a guide to create extra value for their customers outside of the Amazon marketplace, by providing customers with a ‘life hacks guide for runners to raise their game and live a high vibrational life’. The aim of this free guide was to establish a deeper connection with their customers that purchased one of their high visibility running jackets, giving them something extra for free, helping them to stand out, whilst keeping customers engaged with their brand so they’d get good reviews inside of amazon.
Note: I have permission to now share this guide as a writing sample as it was written in 2016 and the company are no longer operating.
I should also note that this piece was written in 2016 – before I transitioned to a fully plant-based diet.

My assignment with Caroline was to write the sales copy for her new business automation product, on a one-product dedicated landing page. It was also my task to add the copy for an email sign-up form and a lead funnel email sequence. Combined together, the aim of this page was for the copy to be so strong, it would encourage new website viewers to sign up for the mailing list, where they will then find out more about the product and be more likely to purchase the product as they are further down the sales funnel.
As you will see from the writing sample, I focused the copy not just on what the product does but what benefits it provides to the reader, and how buying this product will make their lives easier, making it an easy decision for them to buy this product i.e. “Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just focus on what you love and everything else… just happened!”.
